Hello again 2Crafty fans!
So great to be back again to share a layout featuring my little rugby champ
and lots of totally delicious chippies!
"You are awesome"
I'm constantly amazed at the possibilities that chipboard offers!
For the background, I have taken a section of Frame Star with Stars and
used it as a template, misting graffiti style stars with some Black Velvet Color Shine.
With the silly season drawing closer, glitter is making a comeback in my stash.
I've applied some gesso as a primer, then red acrylic paint to a You loopy font title.
Once dry, I've given it a generous coating of red glitter glue.
I really enjoy combining various fonts and colours to make up a title, and this
layout is no exception. Scrabble Tiles have been painted with white acrylic
(be very careful when applying, so as not to lose any fine detail). I've gone over
the letters with a black fine liner and for added definition, have traced the
shape onto some black card stock, which I've then cut out to give
the illusion of height.
The 'Awesome' word bubble has been simply misted with some more Color Shine
and backed with some vibrant green paper.
The final finishing touches are some Arrows.
I've applied gesso and red mist to some and others, I've given a lashing
of white glitter, so they twinkle, but don't overpower the layout
with too many elements.
I also have some little sneaks of some 2Crafty chippies that I have
used on some recent work
This Polaroid Frame has been embossed, primed with gesso and painted
with white acrylic.
I've spritzed the bottom section with Gold Lamé Color Shine
Halloween is such a fun time of the year for me! The playful Broomstick Witch set
added the perfect finishing touch to a Halloween Countdown Calendar.
They were all spritzed with Color Shine and then given a healthy dose of Glossy Accents.
That's it from me today, hopefully you have seen something that might inspire you
to get crafting this very second! Lol
