I have used the sketch as a starting point...love that about sketches!
I did replace one of the photos with a couple of pieces of 2Crafty Chipboard.
I drew inspiration for this layout from a few things in the mood board.
I was inspired by the blue and pink colours, flowers, doilies, the typewriter,
bows on the shoes and the chevron arrow on the cushion.
The chipboard pieces I used on this layout are:
"Butterflies"
"Fay's Flourishes"
"Adorable"
I thought I would give you a quick run down and look at the background
of this layout using the Fay's Flourishes. Sorry not a great photo as
this was taken VERY late at night :)
I placed them together (see below) to form a heart shape...how cool is that!
I first primed them with Gesso, glued them down and just started applying some
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam in Blue Suede Shoes with a fine paint brush.
To create the shadow effect. I ran some Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze in
Oil Slick around the edges, sprayed with some water to make it run and pool.
I repeated the same techniques for the butterflies for a dramatic effect.
