"Cherish the Moments"
Hello 2 Crafty fans, thanks for calling by the blog.
Today I have three layouts to share with you & naturally they have lots of
2 Crafty chipboard featured on them.
On this first layout I have used the following pieces of chipboard..
"Cherish the Moments" Title
"Chicken Wire Panel"
"Fifi's Flourish"
"Multi pack of Butterflies"
How beautiful is this "Fifi's Flourish" ?
Because my layout was so bright, as I had been having fun creating
it with my new Gelatos, I decided to simply paint all
of my chipboard black by simply using a black acrylic paint.
Too easy. It just goes to show that sometimes simple is best.
This title is one of the newest releases from 2 Crafty.
I cut the word Cherish apart from the other words
so that I could stick it on to the photo.
I have cut the "Chicken Wire" panel into pieces &
tucked them in here & there & scattered a few "Butterflies".
"Memories"
This layout is a self portrait of "mwah". Again I had been having
some fun on my background as well as some fussy cutting, so I
decided to keep the chippies simple so that they would contrast
with the background.
In this pic you can see the beautiful "Marissa Corner",
this is such a beautiful piece.
All of the chippies in this layout were firstly
primed with gesso then I sprayed them with a couple of coats
of Kraft coloured Glimmermist.
In this pic you can see the "Sybill's Name Plate" & I have
popped a mini "Memories" word on top for my title
which I had firstly painted with an aqua metallic paint.
Here you can see the "Tahnya's 6" Border" underneath my photo.
"Love"
Lastly I want to show you this layout which is
actually my first layout I have done since joining the design team over at the
"Scrap Around the World" challenge blog & it is based on their
fabulous monthly challenge.
Naturally I have used lots of fabulous 2 Crafty chipboard pieces here, including...
"6" Clock Face Frames"
"Love Circle Title"
"French Lace Border"
"Groovy Flowers-Multi Pack"
The "Love Circle Frame" was firstly primed with Gesso, then a wipe or two of Gelatos
in a couple of different shades of pinks & lastly the word love was simply painted
with black acrylic paint.
The "Groovy Flowers" were given the same treatment as the circle frame..
The "French Lace Border" was firstly primed with Gesso followed by a coat of Distress Ink
while both "clock face frames" were simply painted with black acrylic paint.
Thats all from me until next month.
I hope I have inspired you to use some fabulous
2 Crafty chipboard on your next layout too.
Cheers Di xo
