Hi there , Elena on the blog today with some projects to share with you.
I have been very busy during the month making some tutorials, cards, canvases
& more and today I want to show some of them.
"Create Memories"
This first layout is called "Create Memories". I still can't stop scrapping the photos
of my little baby son. I played with pink colors as I wanted to explore how
it could be used for a boy layout.
I used Frames Tiny Victorian and placed them in two different places.
This one I colored with Gelatos and inked with chalk ink, my favorite technique.
I put some modeling paste on the second frame and then just inked it with chalk ink too.
The same techniques were used on Roxy's Flourish, which I cut into two parts,
I have placed the vine part under the photo.
The second part I put under the corner of the photo and it now looks like a heart.
It is so easy to add the final touch just using the Light Bulb. I primed it first and then
just applied gesso and misted with dark brown ink.
"A Few Cards"
Some cards I want to share with you. I don't create them often but I
like working
on them, though it takes me much more time than to create
the a layout.
The first one I made for my DD on her Birthday.
I used Mother & Daughter Chipboard.
I also added one of the Frame Scallop Circle Borders, embossed with
clear powder and then colored with Gelatos. Next I topped it with a
Pink Paislee Artisan Circle Elements.
For my second card I used ATC Georgian Frame.
I embossed this piece with embossing powder and embellished with microbeads.
My Third Card.....
I used some of
Giant Gears, colored them with mists and primary elements,
and finally embossed with two different kinds of powders.
The same techniques were used on Vintage Clock hand.
Finally I want to share a video tutorial I made for the Shimmerz blog
where I am showing some tips on coloring chipboard.
I used the Polaroid Frame.
You can find the video tutorial here...
