Layout Featuring Some NEW Release Pieces
Plus A Boy Layout
By Di Garling

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by the blog. Today I want to show
this layout I have done featuring some of the NEW release pieces
from 2 Crafty Chipboard. I looooove this latest release, so many
gorgeous pieces

First up I have used this new title "YOU". Don't you just love this font ?
I have simply painted it with some Tim Holtz Crackle Paint to achieve
this lovely aged crackle look. I have also added a few of these sweet
little chippie "FUNKY HEARTS" which simply had a lick of gesso & a wipe
over with a little Distress Ink to finish them off.

I think these NEW "DANDELIONS", which come three in a pack,
are just so so pretty. I have firstly given them a coat of gesso & when
dry I dabbed a little blob of texture paste on each end to create
a little volume & when dry I simply finished them off with a
tiny squirt of a soft pink Stickles to add a little sparkle.

My last piece of chippie I have used on this layout are a couple of
the "TINY FILM STRIPS" which were simply wiped over with a
little gesso. Too easy.
All of these beautiful flowers & the jute bow are from
Green Tara of course.

For my second layout today I thought I would do a boy page !!!
I know, I don't often do boys much these days. These pics were
given to me by a friend & this is her sweet little Grandson.

For the main large cog I have used one from the
These are great as you get so many in one pack in all different sizes.

All of the cogs on this page were firstly painted in black acrylic
paint & when dry I have just wiped them over with
a new product I have found from Viva called "Inka-Gold".
I have used the silver one. This stuff is fabulous, it makes it look
like real metal.

Next up I have used another 2 Crafty Title,
"NO PHOTOS PLEASE". A coat of lime paint & a lick of
black ink around the edges.

In this pic you can see I have used a little "2013". These come in
a pack of twelve. They also have other years available in these too.
Such a good idea. The date also acts
as an embellishment. Finished off with a coat of gesso
& some distress ink.

Lots of little "GEARS". These are in a multi pack too. I have simply
given them the same treatment as the large cog.

A few buttons, some doodling, a lovely striped ribbon from
Green Tara, a little pinwheel & some paint thrown around,
& hey presto, all finished.

Now for a touch of vintage.
This layout I did of my gorgeous husband & myself.
The photo was taken many many years ago, actually
more years than I care to remember !!!!!
We were so very very young.

This layout was done for CSI in February as 2 Crafty were
sponsors there for the month & the 2 Crafty DT girls
joined in the fun. This was my take on their challenge.

Lots of 2 Crafty chippies here including

Well thats all I have for you today.
Make sure you check in daily over on FACEBOOK as there
is something NEW posted on there every day.

Until next month.
Cheers Di  xo
