Hi 2Crafty Followers,
I have another creation using 2Crafty Chipboard to share with you today!!
I am so in love with all of the gorgeous flourishy and swirly designs that Vanessa has available at 2Crafty, you should click on over here, to see the fantastic range available!!
As the patterned papers chosen to create this layout lent themselves in the direction of a shabby chic design, I wanted the chipboard pieces to also follow suit.
In order to do that, i painted the chipboard with acrylic paint and set aside to dry. When dry, I used some dimensional magic to adhere them to the page. Once the chipboard pieces were securely adhered, I used an emery board (you could use a piece of sandpaper and sanding block) to remove some the the paint. The end product is a gorgeously distressed chipboard embellishment that perfectly matches my shabby chic theme.
Here, have a closer look at the distressed effect on the chipboard.
