Carefree - Kerryn

Good morning crafters!

I' ve had a fabulous weekend creating with some new releases from 2Crafty. It was absolutely freezing here yesterday, so I thought I would stay warm getting messy with my chipboard. There was plenty of ink, Kindy Glitz, Stickles and embossing folders out on the table and I manage to put together 2 pages. One I will share a little later.

First up I have to say I absolutely LOVE Vanessa's clever idea of the 2012 sheet. I have already used 3 of them on 2 pages, so think I might need to order some more. For this page I decided on the shadow look. One 2012 has been inked with Pinecone and the second layer has been covered with bronze Stickles

The Polaroid Frames came up really well, I embossed them both with a brick embossing folder and then covered them with black ink. Once they were dry, I used a bronze ink to highlight the higher areas of the embossing and then randomly rubbed some bronze Stickles over parts of the frame.

I cut the Felicity Flourish into a few pieces so I could spread it over the page. I have inked it with metallic blue ink and then applied chrystallina Kindy Glitz as a finishing coat. I have layered the pieces in 2 different spots of the page to add a watery feel to both sides of the photos.

The Tiny Funky Frame was perfect as my journal spot, I've kept it really simple and inked with metallic red.

Thanks for visiting the blog, remember 2Crafty has a design team call here which closes June 15th.

Love the layout Kerryn, and 5 pieces of chipboard - well done, especially as your photo is still the main focus of the page. Love what you did to the polariod frames too.
