I've tried something a little different for my page this week and I am pleased and relieved with how it has turned out.
My son Harrison loves to ride his scooter and he has started riding it to the playground and shops when we walk. I took some photos a few weeks ago on one of our adventures and having a 2 Crafty Scooter Boy in my possession it was the perfect opportunity to create a layout.
My chipboard piece has been coloured with some water colour pencils, I have then used a small amount of water to blend the colours and the lines. They were a bit bright for the page, so I decided to lightly ink over the top with black ink to tone the colours down a little and then I grabbed my black uniball pen and outlined parts of the chipboard piece.
I have used glossy accents to give a nice finish and seal the colours.
That was the hardest part, waiting for it to dry!!
Enjoy!
