Two Layouts and Two Videos
By Karine Gagnon

Hi there crafty friends

My name is Karine Gagnon and I'm a proud new member of the fabulous 2Crafty team!
I'm so happy to get the chance to work with great products and such talented gals!
I'm 37 and I live in Quebec city (Canada) with my partner and our two children, Marianne and Antoine, who are the main stars of my layouts.

I'm excited to share with you my first pair of layouts. So here we go!

«Live Laugh Love»

For this first layout, I went with a yellow, aqua and brown color combo.

I choose this picture of my daughter because she looks so happy in it! I framed her
with the smallest circle from the 6'' Circle Revolution Frames, which I
embossed with dark brown embossing powder.

I chose to frame my picture with the Edgar Swirls.
They are embossed with dark brown embossing powder as well.

My title piece is the Live Laugh Love piece, which was treated as all the
previous chipboard pieces. I just love this title!

«Treasure»

My second layout is much darker than the first one.

When I got my order of chippies, I wanted to use the Lusius Swirl right away.
I find it so elegant! I embossed it with a dark teal embossing powder.

I did the same with my two Corner Gemma's. Those chipboards are so delicate! I love them!

My title piece is part of the Fine Word Set 1. Again, I love the delicate calligraphy font.

"ADORE YOU"
By Stephanie Papin

Hello everyone.
I am  thrilled today to be back again & to show you my latest work
made with the 2Crafty chipboard.

As so often, this new layout is a girly layout with sweet colors.

-Lusius Swirl
-Frame Ingrid's

I have used 3 differents chipboards here and I 've placed them
in a horizontal line. I love this Ingrids Frame, it showcases my photo  perfectly.

I never used to put titles on my work but 2 CRAFTY have so
many fabulous ones to choose from that are just perfect for my work, there are
truly so many beautiful words in their range, you are sure to find one for your layout!
I love this beautiful portrait of my daughter, & this title was just perfect.

Here, I chose to super impose two slightly different chipboards. The end of the first
chipboard, on the left, is therefore slightly on my photo. I think it creates continuity.
Besides that, I decided to add different colors on my chipboard. I have worked with
the colors that are already on my page. To create my  background, I worked with
blue, green, and dark gray ink ( and others). So it is also these inks  that I used
to color my chipboards.  I love to create things that are not united. So on  my
chipboards, I have added multiple colors. The advantage of chipboard is that it is
a  porous material, so the ink enters slowly into the material. Adding
different colors, I can almost create color gradients, thanks to this materials !

When I use several pieces of chipboard, I like to notice each piece.  Some pieces are a painted with  white ink, a color that contrasts with the rather dark color and that contrasts with my background. And finally I chose to work my last chipboard in a darker colour to create a nice contrast color.
So this way I have showcased them .

I hope you enjoy this new page, and that  maybe it will also inspire you.
See you back here again  next month with a new project!
