"be the Reason somewone Smiles today"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I’m happy to share my first layout of June.
I chose to work with a sweet photo of my daughter-in-law with my grandson Milan, a beautiful memory filled with love and tenderness. To complement the photo, I created a soft spring-inspired atmosphere with powdery tones, touches of sage green and delicate floral details.

"be the Reason someone Smiles today"

The chipboard used:

To customize the chipboards, I first applied a light coat of white gesso before adding different Distress Oxide colors. To build my composition, I created a vertical design using the “Cherris Border” to softly separate the background papers while adding height and elegance to the page. I then placed the large “Half Floral Page Border” along the left side to frame the entire composition and bring beautiful movement around the photos. I added the floral elements around the pictures to highlight them while keeping a soft and harmonious balance throughout the page.

The colors were applied very softly with a brush and a little water to keep a delicate watercolor effect. I intentionally left some areas of white gesso visible to preserve softness and light throughout the chipboards. The “Cherris Border” was kept much lighter with mostly white gesso and very diluted touches of Frayed Burlap to add just enough depth and texture without overwhelming the composition.

On the “Half Floral Page Border”, I worked on the flowers using Victorian Velvet and Tattered Rose while the leaves were softly colored with Bundled Sage. I also added tiny touches of Frayed Burlap around some edges to create a subtle aged effect.

For the “Be The Reason Someone Smiles Today” title, I combined several soft shades to help it stand out while still keeping the gentle harmony of the page. The main words received soft touches of pink and warm brown to coordinate with the layout colors. This technique keeps all the beautiful chipboard details visible while creating a soft slightly vintage effect that perfectly matches the overall feel of the layout.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope this page inspires you for your next creative projects.

Marie

'Love this Memory'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello 2Crafty lovers!
It's Lisa here today to share some scrappy inspiration with you.

'Love this Memory'

2Crafty products used:

 'Half Floral Page Border'
'Lattice Leaves'
 'Mini Title Stick Set 5'

For this layout I used the 'Half Floral Page Border'
which I have tucked into the torn layers of my papers.

I have left my chipboard raw for this layout
because it goes so well with my papers.

I also used a few of the double 'Lattice Leaves'
also left raw and tucked into my torn paper layers.

I then used a couple of the single 'Lattice Leaves'
that I have tucked around the corner flower cluster on my page.

I then used one of the sentiments from the
'Mini Title Stick Set 5'
under the stick sentiment.

I really love how well this layout turned out
and I love the feel of the raw chipboard.

I will be back soon with some more to share with you.

Until then

Lisa

Hello Everyone!
Rach back with you today sharing my most recent layout..
This layout of myself hence the title "SELFIE 2025"

I have used some fabulous 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces
two of which are from the newly released
along with Unmistakable Creations - Flora View papers....

2 Crafty Chipboard used:
Half floral page border
Mini hashtag word set 2
2025

Let's start with this Gooooorgeous Half floral page border,
part of the most recent 2 Crafty Chipboard newly released, isn't just DIVINE...
I have simply inked this a lovely Orange using the Tim Holtz - Spiced Marmalade

I have to say I have kept this layout fairly minimal as I wanted that Half Floral make
a statement on my page & I think it does just THAT....

Lastly for my title using the #SELFIE from the Mini hashtag word set 2
Again using Tim Holtz inks, inking the #SELFIE with this delightful purple using Dusty Concord
and of course adding the year 2025 (one of my ALL TIME 2 Crafty Chipbaord FAV'S )
Inking this using peacock feathers, a lovely teal color....

That's it from me this month,
I hope I have inspired you in someway!
 Thanks for stopping by...
