Today I'm sharing my first layout for September. I can't believe how fast this year is going. Wow!
Anyway, I'm using some new pieces on this layout from the last release. So Pretty! I love monochromic color schemes. This was created with all the shades in the photo. From her hat and her hair to her dress and the background! I think I caught them all!

All the Chipboard got a good coating of White Gesso before altering.
I used circles from the Circle Stack to frame both photos. I then cut the flourish from Ava's Frame and placed that over the top photo. I painted the Circles on the photos with Vintage Mustard Chalk and Painted Ava's frame with Raw Sienna Acrylic Paint.
I added a couple of leaves from the Foliage Set 13 next to the top photo. These were also painted with Raw Sienna Acrylic Paint.
On top of the leaves on the right is a piece from the Foliage Set 18. The was painted with Sheepskin Chalk Paint.
Here is another piece from the Foliage Set 13 underneath a piece from the Foliage set 18.
And then there's this fabulous butterfly!! This is from Annie's Butterfly Flourish. I painted the butterfly's body with Raw Sienna Acrylic Paint and the wings with Sheepskin and Vintage Mustard Chalk Paint. I put some little bing Jewels from Kaisercraft where the colors met in the wings just to add a little dimension.
The large butterfly from Annie's Butterfly Flourish was altered the same as the small one. I carried the Raw Sienna color from the body of the butterfly into the flourish.
Here you can see the rest of the gorgeous flourish from the large butterfly. Love it!!
The title, You Shine, was painted with Sheepskin Chalk Paint. I painted this light because of the 2 other light areas on the layout with the flowers and the Foliage set 18. I used the rule of 3's to create harmony of color.
