let's go
by Robin Schelin

Hi everyone, welcome back to the blog. So happy you stopped by.

Who doesn't love a road trip, right?
As far back as I can remember, this has been my favorite mode of transportation!

   let's go

let's go

Mini Chunky Funky Bits

AS always, Gesso first on those fabulous chippies!

Ok, so I used a LOT of circles on this layout. Once I got started I had to keep going. The Circle Stack has so many circle in it, and so many sizes, that you can go absolutely overboard with them. Which is what I did!

Up top here I painted the large circle with a blend of Yellow Red, Raw Sienna and Burnt Sienna Acrylic Paint to match the orange color in the photo. Inside the orange circle I added a circle that was from the Everywhere collection from 49 and Market.

The small circle was painted with a mix of Providential Blue, Nautical and Parisian Gray Chalk Paint. This was to match the blue in the photo. Inside that I placed a sentiment also from the Everywhere collection.

Here on the side of the photo I switched it around and Painted the larger circle blue and used an orange circle from the collection so that it would be opposite from the top. Then added a couple sentiments from the Everywhere collection.

I added in one of the foliage pieces from the Foliage Set 15 at top, tucked into the flowers. I painted the stems with Provincial Blue Chalk Paint and the buds with the same mixture I painted the orange circles with.

I also added in another piece of the Foliage Set 15 to the flowers on the left side of the photo.

More circles at the bottom of the layout. I mean, why not? I've gone this far! This one is the same as the top one. Orange circle with blue insert, and a small blue one with another sentiment from the Everywhere collection.

The title, let's go, seemed to perfect for this layout! I wanted it to really pop against all the color, so I painted it with Sheepskin Chalk Paint.

I also placed a couple piece out of the Mini Chunky Funky Bits here at the bottom and at the top of the layout, painted with Sheepskin Chalk Paint. These little pieces can be used just about anywhere to add a bit of texture.

Hope you like this layout.
I will be back in a few weeks to share more from our favorite chipboard company, 2Crafty!
