#Adore
By Charmane Sharp

Such a unique animal found on Rottnest Island, Western Australia. Absolutely
cute and inquisitive. An adorable subject for my layout.

Mini # Word set 1
Flower Doilies
Mini Dotty Bits
Bush Nut Stems
Corner Mini Hannah

A simple title with the perfect word. After Gesso was applied to all
the pieces I then coloured with Saltwater Taffy Distress Paint and
sponged Gesso across the top. A small Flower Doily was tucked under
the cluster for a little textural detail.

Painting some white paint on the Hannah pieces kept them crisp
and highlights there details against the other colours with green
watercoloured leaves only.

The Flower Doilies were brushed with Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide
in the middle and then lightened with Picket fence twice to create lighter
v versions of the same colour. This gives an ombre look.

The Bush Nuts add contrast to the floral elements and coordinate
with the Quokkas. Watercolouring with a few varying shades of
 brown gave the Nuts texture.

I finished the layout off with some Dotty bits which add to the circle
diecut frames. I brushed on a little pale green to keep it subtle. Papers
are by Mintay. Thanks for taking a look at my layout.

Until next time...
