Her Smile
By Robin Schelin

Hi Everyone. So glad you stopped by today.

For my first layout for February, I'm sharing a layout with a wintery vibe because this is where I live! Winters are long in Colorado, so plenty inspiration out there for me to draw on!
Hope you like it.

"Her Smile"

2Crafty Chipboard used:

Foliage Set 12

Circle Stack

Foliage Set 11

Leafy Shrub Set 2

6" Clock Face Frame

Her Smile

At the risk of sounding like a broken record... Gesso those chippies ladies, before you alter!
 It works wonders!

Starting on the left side of the layout, I placed one of the 6" Clock Face Frames tucking it in under the flowers. I painted it with Pewter Acrylic Paint. I used 3 clocks on this layout and they were all altered the same way.

Above the clock, I added one off the circles from the Circle Stack. I painted it with White Acrylic Paint. I used 2 of the circles from the Circle Stack pack, they were also altered the same.

Here on the right side of the photo you can see the other 2 clocks and the circle.

Here also, are 2 of the little foliage pieces from the Foliage Set 12. I painted them with a mix of Cerulean Blue, Light Blue Violet, Neutral Gray and White Acrylic Paint. There are 2 more of these on the other side of the  layout.

I used several pieces from the Foliage Set 11 on both sides of the layout. I think these little pieces add just the right amount of texture and interest. I painted them with Neutral Gray Acrylic Paint.

Here on the bottom, I placed one of the leafy swirls from the most beautiful Leafy Shrub Set 2. I painted the leaves with Neutral Gray Acrylic Paint and the swirls with Pewter Acrylic Paint. Just a subtle  difference, but I wanted to bing the Pewter of the clocks all the way down .

Last, but not least, is the title. I painted Her Smile with White and Neutral Gray Acrylic Paint.

Hope you are getting your Winter on, unless you live in Australia!!
If so, then I hope you are enjoying your Summer.
 Just remember, your time's coming!
