Step By Step Tutorial
Celebrate Today
By Charmane Sharp

I have put together a Step By Step Tutorial for you all to follow so you can
create your own layout with 49 and Market Colorswatch Blossom. 2 photos
used are approx 9cm x 6.5cm each. Celebrating Tahlia's Birthday and Kaylee
is more excited knowing that cake is coming.

2Crafty Chipboard used...

Title- Celebrate Today
Hearts a Flutter
Ginny's Flourish set
Pointed Doily Frames
Mini Decorative Frames set 2

Step 1. Tear the side of the pink paper off as per photo and use an edge punch
randomly for a shabby finish. Cut a second piece of paper and join it underneath
leaving the edge exposed so it sits free. Attach some torn paper to right side.

Step 2. Using a stencil apply some texture paste on the left side and of the
background and in several other spots for subtle detail to be highlighted later.

Step 3. Prepare all the chipboard with a coat of Gesso.

Step 4. Paint all the Ginny Flourish pieces with Finnabair White Pearl paint.
Mix the White Pearl with some Vintage Rose loosely and sponge on the Doily.

Step 5. Sponge some Opal Magic Rose Gold onto the word Celebrate and the
Decorative Frame. Then sponge the remaining Vintage Rose mix over the top
of the frame for a shabby finish and on the word Today.

Step 6. Coat the Doily and the title in Clear embossing powder for added shine.

Step 7. Applying embossing powder mix to the Hearts. I used WOW Dappled
Coral and Dappled Pink first sprinkling one over randomly and then the other
so they blended together once heated.

Step 8. Mount the photos on some printed paper offset and compile a
composition of torn and straight edges underneath raising some layers,
with foam tape.

Step 9. Use a piece of 6x8' paper and cut a frame out of the right side.
Then cut it across the bottom to lengthen it as per photo.

Step 10. Adhere the photo layers to the background raising up off it. Die cut
two circles in 2 sizes and place one at the bottom and the other top right
tucked in.

Step 11. Add the Doily centered by the photos cutting off the side and attaching
that piece under the paper top left. Add the Frame on top of the circle at the top.

Step 12. Cut the Heart strip so you have a piece on the side of the photos and a
piece on the bottom circle. One heart was cut off to tuck with the Doily piece.

Step 13. Add the flowers and the title as per above photo.

Step 14. Add Ginny's Flourish pieces to the floral clusters cutting one up for
smaller bits. See finished photo for all positions of flourishes. Then add diecut
pieces for more detail.

Step 15. Finish the layout with rubons, Pearls, Sequins and Lindy's Cotton Candy
Pink Spray applied with a brush to highlight texture paste and add splashes by
tapping the spray insert.

Hope you have enjoyed the tutorial and created a layout of your own.
