Sunset holiday fun with my son creating memories he will cherish.
I hope you enjoy this tutorial with lovely 2Crafty Chipboard adding
so much interest to the layout.
2Crafty Chipboard used...
Sammi's Swirl
Mini Decorative Frame set 8
Leafy Shrub set 2
Seashells set 2
Mini Title Stick 5
Circle Heart Frames
1. The background was created by tearing some coordinating paper
for the corners of the layout. Clear Gesso it all and sew around the
outside edge and zigzag stitch in certain spots.
2. Apply some rubons to the background as shown above. Mix some
Finnabair Mica powder into some Texture Paste and spread through
a stencil as per above photo.
3. After choosing my chipboard pieces I coated them all with Gesso.
Watercoloured all of them except the Frames, and Title which I painted.
4. Diecut some arches and sewed them. Gesso was sponged on the
edges of the Flowers and Leaves.
5. I cut a piece of paper a little longer than my photo and sewed
around it. Cut another piece of paper slightly smaller width and
longer length and punch the edge.
6. Die cut a Doily and then assemble with foam tape between the
layers using the photo above as a guide.
7. Add Heart Frame over the photo and piece of Sammi's Swirl
to the bottom.
8.Add the Flowers, Leaves and and Leafy Shrub to create
clusters. Add the other Sammi's Swirl piece to the top of the
layout. Use foam tape to raise some pieces if required.
9. Raise the Decorative Frame with some foam tape and create a
small cluster on it, with the title over the top.
10. Add the Seashells to the layout for finishing touches.
I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial and create a layout yourself.
I used papers and Flowers by 49 and Market.
Until next time...
