Welcome to the 2Crafty Chipboard blog.
Today's layout is very bright and cheerful reflecting my love
of Foster puppies. I wanted to add some texture and contrast
details which 2Crafty Chipboard is perfect for.
Adding some cut out Moroccan Bits and glorious Flourish
designs, is a simple way to finish a layout with pieces that
just pop amongst the other elements clustered together.

I love the gorgeous swirls on the Flourish Adornment pieces.
Making them stand out was easy with a coat of Teal paint and
a slight brushing of White Gesso with a dry brush. When placed
between the Pink Frames it becomes a focal point.
Mini Title Sticks are a must in your chipboard supplies,
as they are so versatile to place anywhere on your creation.
After applying a coat of Gesso especially inside the words,
I rubbed some Patina Green wax over the top lightly. This
prevents any going into the words so you can read them still.
Moroccan Bits are so lovely to add extra detail. After a coat of
Gesso I rubbed some Matte White wax over using my finger.
Pull out those bright colours and make a happy layout.
It really does make you smile and if it takes you out of your
comfort zone then that's a good way to challenge yourself.
