Some December Inspiration
Three Layouts To Share With You
By Di Garling

 "Amazing, Wonder, Beauty"
Hi there 2Crafty fans. Today I have three layouts to share with you,
starting off with this one I created for a class I was teaching at a retreat in New Zealand recently.

 2Crafty Product Used...
Mini Word Set #1
Ciircle Heart Frames
Leafy Shrub Set #1
Fine Heart Borders

Lots of lovely paper layers from Maja Design, flowers & of course, lots of 2Crafty chipboard.

All the chipboard on this layout was firstly coated in white gesso, followed by
a coat of white acrylic paint. I just left the mini words like this.

But for all the other pieces I then wiped a little "Vintage Photo" Distress Ink over
the white paint & then brushed a little water over the brown ink to wash it out
a little. I find doing this just softens the colour a little.

I love to tuck some chippie foliage in amongst my flower clusters.

"I Believe In Santa"
For my second layout today I have done a Christmas layout featuring my
sweet little grandson Henry sitting on Santas knee.
(this was before he had a major meltdown!!)

2Crafty Product Used...
I Believe in Santa-title
Christmas Polaroid Frames
Holly Flourish #1
Holly Leaves

To frame my photo I have used one of the "Christmas Polaroid Frames"
which I have painted in acrylic paints.

Next up I also painted this chippie title, "I Believe in Santa" in some red
acrylic paint & then I dabbed on a little bit of red Stickles glitter..

Then came this little "Ruddy" reindeer. How cute is he? For this I lightly rubbed him over
with some light brown ink & then painted in some of the details using acrylic paints.

For all the "Holly Flourishes" & "Holly" leaves, I simply heat embossed them
all with a gold embossing powder. Too easy.

An Extra Project....
"A Christmas 2 Remember"

This is a layout I did for the December challenge over at the More Than Words blog
and features my grandaughter Mia.

2Crafty Product Used...
A Christmas 2 Remember - title
Leafy Christmas Frame
2015 Date

I used the new "Leafy Xmas Frame" to frame the photo.
I heat embossed it in a silver sparkly embossing powder & then I
painted a little detail on it with some Lindys Stamp Gang Magicals.

I also used the same pink Magicals to colour up both the "Christmas 2 Remember"
title & the 2015 Date & finished them both of by adding a little sparkle with
some Stickles glitter.

Well thats all from me today. I will see you back here again in the new year.
Merry Christmas.
