October inspiration By Annie

Hello everyone!  I don't know about you but I love Halloween !! I live in Canada & every year the kids are so excited to dress up and go  trick or treating!  My parents always come to the house to give out candy while we go  with the kids in our neighbourhood ! Here is a lantern that I altered with Halloween Chipboards,  I think it looks perfect on my porch with all the other Fall decorations !

All chipboards were coated with Gesso.  I used Gelatos on most of them and 
Acrylic paint on others. On the bats and the spider I used black embossing powder.
 All the pieces are held with glue.

     

 "Love You"

  My second project this month is a layout with more pastel colours.  I was inspired  by the palette and the photo for the choices of chipboard I used.  All the pieces  were first coated with Gesso.  I used turquoise and green acrylic paint on all  of them except for the title. I did a little bit of shading with brown ink.   I cut the circle panel in 3 pieces and put them all around my photo.

"Live it Up"

How about a boy layout ? I haven't done one in a while but with this picture,

 I had to go out of my comfort zone ! I used a lot of pieces for this one and

 they were all painted with bright colours, except for the banner.  

After I painted the pieces I used big markers to do some shading on them, 

and finished with some doodling.
