Those special memories in our life deserve to be scrapbooked so we can cherish
them always. When your youngest turns 16 it’s a sad and happy day all in one.
It means your little boy is all grown up and ready to make his own life choices.
As his mother I can only be proud of the young man he has become.

Title- What a Wonderful Day
Of course all the chipboard pieces were coated with Gesso. Then I rubbed on
some Blue wax to the Heart and edged it with a little Gold. Adding it to my
composition brings out the love for my son. Tucking underneath is a piece cut
from the Foliage set which I painted cream and added highlights with Gold
Wax. Also a piece cut off the Mini Branches which had a light rub of Brown
Wax so it had a little contrast.
Adding in more pieces of the Foliage and Mini Branches to my fussy cut
leaves adds the finishing touches needed for my cluster.
I love how adding the Steampunk Chain Clock over the resin Clock
gives added depth to this moment in time I will treasure always. Highlighting
the details with different waxes brings them all to the forefront. When doing
this I use a piece of scrap paper to cover what I’ve already done to limit
colour transference as I rub on the waxes.
When going through my title collection I chose to cut a second title up to make the one
I wanted. The remaining will be used on another layout. I love how rubbing waxes on
really brings the two words together and coordinates with the layout beautifully.
