One of a Kind
By Charmane Sharp

Hello everyone, Charmane back with you today to share my layout of Kaylee
enjoying some sunshine at the front door. A lovely soft feminine palette with
the gorgeous PawPrint Strip by 2Crafty.

2Crafty Chipboard used...

Little Pawprint Strip
Frame Doodled
Leafy Shrub set 1 x2
Summer Leaf Stems
Title- One of a Kind

After a coat of Gesso on the chipboard designs I sponged on some Spun
Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Paint to the Little PawPrint Strip.
Once dry I dry brushed some Gesso over the piece for a softer finish.
Then I glued it onto a piece of printed paper and cut it out. As the right
hand cluster of small Hearts wouldn't be seen under my photo I cut them
off to use later.

The Doodled Frame was painted with Bundled Sage and once dry
Gesso was applied for a two tone finish. Then I sewed around the
inside edge of my patterned paper and glued the frame done. Cutting
the details out allowed the paper to be seen.

Distress Paint in Iced Spruce and Bundled Sage were applied to the
Leafy Shrub piece blending the two shades together. Finished with a
very light brush of Gesso. I love the detail it adds to my layout. I also
added a second piece that I cut from another set of the Leafy Shrub set 1
on the right side pop my photo. I will use the remainder of the piece
 on another layout.

For some contrast I decided to colour the Summer Stems a little brighter
so opted for Distress Mowers Lawn and a light sponge of Bundled Sage on
top. This creates a lovely pop of colour.

As a rescue dog who we adopted some years ago with a troubled background
this title definitely suits Kaylee, and we love her just as she is.

Until next time...
