You Are awesome
Robin Schelin

Hi everyone. Today I'm sharing my first layout for May.
I can't believe this year is almost half over already! Time goes by soooo fast!

This layout is of my very awesome Granddaughter, Ashli, from many years ago. We were out on a photo shoot when the wind just whipped up out of nowhere. And I just happened to be taking this picture at that exact moment. Now I'm no photographer, by any stretch, but this one is for the books! This could be Fabio's little girl!! Look him up!

You Are awesome

Fabulous 2Crafty chippies I used:

Grid Panel

Decorative circle Accents Set 1

You Are awesome

As this is my thang, all of the chipboard was covered in Gesso first before altering. Got to have a good base for all those fabulous paints, waxes, inks etc...

I cut up the Grid Panel and placed a piece of it at the top of the photo. I painted it with a mix of White Adirondack and Barcelona Beige Chalk Paint.

Under the flowers here on the left, I added one of the circles from the Decorative Circle Accents Set 1. I painted it with Black Gesso. This was to add depth and dimension to the flower cluster, and to balance with the black used in other places.

The title You Are awesome is exactly what she is! I painted 'You Are' with black Gesso, again to balance with the black in other places on the layout. The word 'awesome' was painted with a mix of Glacier, Providential Blue, and White Adirondack Chalk Paint. This was, of course, to balance out the blues.

Under the title, I added in another piece of the Grid Panel.

Hope you like this layout of my awesome Granddaughter!
I'll see you back later in the month with more inspiration from 2Crafty.
