This layout was built around the Pointed Doilies which I chose to use
two sets to frame my photos and the smaller one under my title. Together
they create a wonderful focus on the centre of my layout. Beautiful papers
by Uniquely Creative in shades of Violet and Lavender.

After the usual coat of Gesso on all the chipboard choices. I opted for a
soft palette on the Foliage and Avery Vines as you can see above. Distress
Oxide in Shaded Lilac and Bundled Sage brushed on and a spritz of water
brought out the Oxide finish. I lightened the Lilac with a little Picket Fence.
I cut the Avery Vines up to give me multiple pieces to tuck in showing
those beautiful details.
Juliet's Heart had Wilted Violet brushed on and then dabbed off the
excess for a softer look. I love the design of this heart with its curls.
To add a little texture I tucked some of the Lattice Bits around the
layout after adding a combination of Shaded Lilac and Dusty Concord.
A little Tattered Rose Oxide on the Pointed Doilies broke up the
shades of Purple and framed my photos beautifully. I used two sets of
the Doilies to do this. Applying some paper to the centre of the small
Doily I used it to become a focus for my title with ephemera placed
under it.
