Hi everyone.
Today I'm sharing my last layout for November. Time to get those Christmas layouts going! This is just a fun colorful layout to brighten up the cloudy November days. I's already cold here in Colorado, so I just wanted to make something that felt warm instead of gloomy!
You Colour My World
2Crafty goodness I used:
Foliage Set 15
Dancing Suns
You Colour My World
All the chipboard was primed with White Gesso before painting.
I used one of the Dancing Suns at the top of the photo on the right to add a little bit of fun. I felt I needed something to fill in this area, and this was perfect! I painted it with Provincial Blue Chalk Paint. I placed a little sentiment in the middle just to balance out the color.
I love, love LOVE the Foliage Set 15. Absolutely perfect to use tucked into your flowers. I need to really stock up on these because I use them a LOT! I added them here and at the upper right next to the Dancing Sun. These little gems are one of my all-time favorites. I painted these with Sheepskin Chalk Paint.
I wanted the word 'Colour' from the title You Colour My World to really pop, so I painted it with a blend of Violet, Naphthol Crimson, Light Pink and Neutral Gray Acrylic Paint. I just kept mixing colors until I got to a color that matched the flowers and the strap on her shoulder. I made a mess, but it worked! The rest of the title was painted with Sheepskin Chalk Paint to create contrast with the word 'Colour'.
And that's it. Next month is all about Christmas. I'm really looking forward to sharing my Christmas layouts with you, so much fun!
See you then
xx
