Hi everyone, glad you could stop by.

Today I am sharing my first layout for April.
 It is so beautiful outside, Spring is definitely in the air!
This photo screams Springtime to me, so I knew I had to create a layout around it.
 Hope you like it!

Foliage Set 8

As Always, I first painted on some Gesso to be able to get the true colors I wanted. This time, I used White Gesso on all the chipboard.

I used Moroccan at the top above the photo. I cut it, using just a small piece, altering it with 'Mist' from the Prima Woodlands Water Color set. 

Among the flowers I placed a few of the pieces of Foliage Set 8. I wanted to break up the color of the flowers a bit. These little pieces are perfect to add subtle dimension too. These were heat embossed with White Ultra Thick Embossing Powder.

I cut 'Great Memories' from the Simple Moments make Great Memories title. I used 'Simple Moments' on another layout. Love that you can cut the titles to customize your projects. This was simply painted with White Acrylic Paint. 

Here also are more pieces of the Foliage Set 8. 

This title was a great choice for this layout! I think it captures the happiness on her face. I painted it with Naples Yellow Red Acrylic Paint. 

Here also is another piece of the Moroccan. This one painted with 'Crimson' from the Prima Pastel Dreams Water Color Set.
