"sweet Memory"
2Crafty Chippies I used are:
Dainty Foliage Stems
Lattice Leaves
sweet
ATC Words
Always prepare your chipboard before altering. I use Gesso, works great!
I used the Dainty Foliage Stems on both sides of the photo, tucked in under the flowers. I painted them with a mixture of Deep Turquoise, Cobalt Blue, Cerulean Blue and Neutral Gray Acrylic Paint.
I am a mixologist when it comes to painting chipboard! I rarely find the color I need in just one tube of paint. I play around and make a big mess just to try to achieve colors to compliment the photo I'm using. With this layout, I think I did pretty good getting the Stems to play off the colors in the background of the photo.
Here are the Dainty Foliage Stems on the other side of the photo.
For the Lattice Leaves, I used the same mix of colors that I did on the Stems, just to bring that color down to the bottom of the floral cluster. I love that you can pop in small 2Crafty pieces to add color and dimension just about anywhere on your layouts,
I used sweet along with Memory from the ATC Words pack for the title. I painted them with White Acrylic Paint. I paint a lot of my titles with white paint so they will stand out. I love 2Crafty titles and I want them to be a focal point on the layout.
I hope you like this layout. I"ll be back next month with more 2Crafty inspiration.
