Mixed Media Layout

"Catch a Dream"

Hello Friends..

This post is very very special to me as it is my last post as DT for 2Crafty Chipboard.
I am having mixed sort of feelings at this time, bidding farewell to all my wonderful teamies.
2Crafty was my first design team experience with a product company, and I totally enjoyed the whole of my duration with them.
So moving on to my project, I created a Dream catcher layout where I incorporated some lovely old and new pieces of 2Crafty chippies. Did you notice.. I haven't used any photo in this layout.. :)

I have used background paper as well as those fussy paper elements from AB Studio's Dreamland collection, and they complimented my choice of chippies here.

I have used Finnabair's waxes in "Firebird" and "lucky emerald" to highlight all of the chippies.
I tried to maintain uniformity in colour to blend the pieces well with the overall theme.

For the wings chippies, I used Finnabair's Art Achemy sparks in "unicorn's hair", one of my favourite and most used colour.
Then I added highlights with waxes.
For the mini word "wonder", I embossed it with Lindy's EP "Twilight bronze slate".

2Crafty Supplies used:

Aztec Feathers
Clock face disks
Aztec Arrows set
Angel wings
Steampunk gears small
Mini word set 1

I hope you all liked the project and got inspired to create.. :)
