August inspiration by Ingrid

Hi there 2Crafty friends!
It's my turn on the blog today and I have two projects for you,
both featuring my beautiful daughters, Yiscka and Tessa.

The first layout is the one of my youngest.
A layout with bright colors to match her fun and sunny personality.

BEAUTY

Started the background by applying modeling paste with a spatula.
Added the bright colors and some water to let them run.
I placed the lacy border vertically together with some pink threads.

Found some beautiful glass beads in my stash which matched the colors perfectly.

I added some paperclips in the same colors.

Tucked in some Lattice leaves, painted with some gesso.

The flourish was painted with some pink acrylic paint.

The lace border was painted with gesso and the word got a pink coat, applied with a small sponge.

The glass and wooden beads.

The flowers got a touch with some gesso.

Lovely textured background with the modeling paste using a spatula.

Lacy border set
Lattice Leaf set
Mini flourish bits

And here is my second layout this month, a one with my oldest daughter, Tessa
This sweet and beautiful girl got married last month!
It was a beautiful wedding, all went well and the weather was just perfect!
I wanted to create a soft and elegant layout for she looked just so gorgeous.

GORGEOUS

Used some bits of the grid panel to create the background.
Added the soft and a bit shimmery paint.
All of the chipboard was painted with some gesso.

On this project I used three of the mini flourish set.

The grid panel with small grid for texture and some beads.

Some gesso on the flowers and beads.

Added some cabochons and some lace flowers.
