TWO Boy Layouts To Share
By Di Garling

"Live Out Loud"

Hi there lovelies, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have part one of my May DT reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard.
This layout  features my cute little Grandson Henry.
This was his first "dress up" birthday party he had been to
& as you can see his Mummy dressed him up as a little pirate.
Lucky that sword is plastic !!

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Live Out Loud Title
Chevron Bits
Triangle Clusters

First up I used this great title, "Live Out Loud" because I thought it was quite fitting
for these pics. I painted it in red acrylic paint followed by a coat of Glossy Accents.
Haven't used that stuff in ages but it definitely makes this title stand out.

I have also used a few "Chevron Bits" which I heat embossed black.
I think they give my layout structure.

I have coloured the background with some Lindy's Stamp Gang
"Midnight Rendezvous Raven" & done loads & loads of stamping.

I think the star chippie piece on this layout is definitely the "Triangle Clusters".

I just love how they look on this layout.
I simply inked them in black ink, doesn't get much simpler than that !

A hint of yellow by way of a flower & a sprinkling
of enamel dots & hey presto, all finished.

"Adventure"

This month I decided I would do something I have never done before,
I have gone with an ALL BOY theme for both my 2Crafty DT layouts
& both have featured my cute little grandson, Henry.

Now you have to look closely at these photos to see he is wearing an old fashioned
avaitors hat & goggles & he is sitting in a cardboard box with a propeller on the front of it.
How CUTE is that !!
So for this layout I thought I would make it a little bit vintage.

 2Crafty Chipboard Used
Biplane
Adventuire - loopy font
Steampunk Gears - small
Steampunk Gears - medium
Giant Gears

To start off with I have used one of the hundreds of titles that 2Crafty have.
I heat embossed it with some Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powder & then
wiped it over with little bit of bronze Viva Paste.

Now I have used three different size 2Crafty cogs on my layout.
I used the "Steampunk Gears - small", as well as the "Steampunk Gears - medium"
& then added a couple of "Giant Gears".

I thought my layout had a bit of a steampunk vibe !!

I think the standout piece of chippie on this layout definitely has to be
this little old fashioned "Biplane" which I just left raw. I LOVE this piece.

For all the cogs & gears I heat embossed them in a gold coloured embossing powder first
followed by a sprinkling of copper coloured embossing powder & I just re heated it.
I like how they turned out.

I hope I have inspired you to try some fabulous 2Crafty
chippie pieces on your next boy layout too. They have a massive
amount of things for boy layouts.

Well thats all from me today.
Until next time.
