March Inspiration
Three Layouts to Share
By Di Garling

"This Is Me"

Hi there 2Crafty fans, thanks for stopping by the blog. Today I have three layouts
to share with you, starting off with this one featuring a friends daughter.

2Crafty Chipboard products used
This Is Me-title
Cog & Gears multi pack
Leafy Shrub Set #1

All the chippie pieces on this layout were firstly given a coat of gesso,
followed by a little texture paste just dabbed on to create some texture
& then followed with some Turquoise Blue Glimmermist which was
very roughly brushed on for colour.

"This Is Me" was just the perfect title for this little cutiepie.

Love this Leafy Shrub Set #1.  Such a great piece to include with your flowers.

The "Cogs & Gears" also look great tucked in & around your flower clusters,
don't just save them for boy pages !!!

 Some stenciling & stamping.

A few flowers.

Another view of the "Leafy Shrub Set #1". It comes four pieces in a pack.

"Happiness is......Cupcakes"

All of us 2Crafty design team girls were recently invited to be guest designers over at the
& so I created this layout based on their challenge below.

2Crafty Chipboard Product Used
Circle Lace Panel
Happiness Is This-title
Tiny Henri's Frame
Retro Flowers

Firstly I started off with one of the new release titles - "Happiness Is This"
This layout was all about cupcakes & although it is a little hard to see,
this photo is actually cupcakes with flowers on top. They look too good to eat.

This stencil from "The Crafters Workshop" is such a good match to this
"Circle Lace Panel".

All the chipboard on this layout was given a coat of gesso followed by a dab or two
of distress ink & then I brushed on some Silks paints & a little Stickles Glittler Glue.

Don't you just love this new "Circle Lace Panel" . It is so so
beautiful & fine. I have cut it into several pieces to suit my layout.

My little quote here I have popped inside the ever popular
"Tiny Henri's Frame". It is a perfect size.

I have also popped in some "Retro Flowers" in amongst my flowers.
Love these.

"Friends"

My final layout today is this one I did a few weeks back for a DT assignment
over at The Scrapbook Store & naturally it has some yummy 2Crafty chippies on it.
I have made a start to finish video tutorial on this layout. I hope you take the time to view it.

2Crafty Chipboard Products Used
  Handrawn Hearts Frame
Sybill's Name Plate
Leafy Silhouettes

I love these "Handrawn Heart Frames" & there are so many ways
to use them too.

Here I simply tucked it underneath my photo after firstly giving it a little gesso & ink.

These are the "Leafy Silhouettes" which I simply coloured with an ink pad.

Lastly I have used the "Sybils Name Plate" which you can see I have given a little
texture to using a stencil &  when dry & simply wiped it over with some ink.

Well thats all from me today. Until next month.

Di,
Each layout is just beautiful. I have to say my fav is the last one with the video - maybe because I watched you bring it to life. And, thank you for the tip on the little flowers - they will be perfect to just slip in sometimes - with matching paper, etc. Again, thank you for sharing your art!
