I played along with 2 challenges while creating this layout:
that includes this fabulous mood board designed by Tusia Lech.
and
I added some pieces of the Small Chicken Barbed Wire here and there.
Having created a lot of layouts already with 2Crafty chipboard,
This challenge asks to include at least 3 different patterns on your creation.
Now on to the details and a closer look at all the 2Crafty Chipboard used!
First, I used the Loopy Font Precious Title and
the EveryDay Font U/C & L/C to spell out the name Ella.
I embossed the letters with a polkadot pattern and then covered every piece
with white gesso, sprayed them with different shades of aqua blue glimmer mist
and then dabbed on some white paint on the top half to give them an ombre effect.
I added some pieces of the Small Chicken Barbed Wire here and there.
I lined up a piece of the Doily Border at the bottom of my layout
which I treated the same way as the title.
The Frame Lucy's Flourish piece is so beautiful and elegant,
I wish I would have had two as I would have added a picture of my niece Daphne
in the second one, that way making this layout about my two favourite girls!

This sweet looking key comes from the Keyholes and Locks set, nine pieces included.
And one last look from the side on which you can see some of the layers and all the pretty flowers.
Having created a lot of layouts already with 2Crafty chipboard,
I thought that I would show how versatile this chipboard is
by making a nice birthday card set with some of my favorite pieces.

Card #1
I LOVE cupcakes and I love this chipboard Cupcake too! It comes in a set of 3
and looks awesome covered with thick coats of gesso, white paint and glitter.
2Crafty has a lot of card embellishment packs including ones with many different sentiments.
I took the 'Happy Birthday' from one of these Card Sentiment packs
and cut out the 'birth', replacing it with the same letters from the Scrabble Tiles
which I layered with white paint, distress inks, distress stains and more paint.
Card #2
This card has more of a fancy touch using lots of flowers
and a piece of the beautiful Corner Large Flower Vine
that I covered with gesso and various inks, stains and paints.
I then added an Ava's Butterfly.
The 'Best Wishes' also comes from a Card Sentiment pack.
Card #3
This is my favorite of the 3 cards because, quite obviously,
that Carousel Horse is so adorable!
I put layers upon layers of different mediums on this one,
going from gesso to crackle paint to paint to distress stains to more paint.
The sentiment on this card comes from the Happy Birthday Card Pack.
You get 6 greetings in one pack so lots of cards to be made!
I had some pieces left over from the Party Banner used on a previous project
and thought it looked perfect on this card.
The July mid-month challenge was to use this sketch as inspiration
and to add trim/ribbon on your layout.

Sisters Forever
I
was given this picture of my aunt Marie and her two sisters a while back
by my mom.
She asked me to create a special layout as a surprise gift for my aunt
and I finally got around to doing it

Below you see the Loopy Font Forever title
which I painted with black silk glaze and then dabbed with white and light pink paint.
After painting it with white gesso, misting it in pink and dabbing it with more white,
I cut up the Floral Branch and tucked the pieces behind my different flower clusters.
Three hearts for three sisters...
the Frame Love Hearts was the perfect focal point for my layout!
I also painted a Journaling Frame in black and cut it in two,
slipping each piece on either side of the picture.
I then added some stenciling with molding paste and dabbed with pink and white paint.
Hope I've inspired you to create today!
