Back With Some More Inspiration...
By Di Garling

Hi there, thanks for calling by the blog.
Today I have another layout to show you that I did recently
& naturally, as always, I have used my favourite
2Crafty Chipboard on it.

This was actually a DT assignment for the
Scraps of Darkness Kit Club.

In this photo you can see I have used one of the NEW
2Crafty chippie titles, "Special Days", however I have
cut the "S" off the word days, so that it would suit my
layout. That is the beauty of chipboard, it is so easy to
cut up to suit your project.

For this title I simply applied a coat of Gesso, followed by some
turquoise distress ink & then finished it off with a wipe over
with some gold paint. Too easy.

I have also used a packet of 2Crafty "Giant Gears" & I have simply heat embossed
them in gold followed by a little black ink here & there to grunge them up a little.

Throughout my layout I have scattered some "Cogs & Gears" from one of
the 2Crafty Multi Packs & I have heat embossed them in the same fashion.

Well that wraps it up from me today.
Hope I have inspired you to maybe give steampunk a try.
This was my first time at doing this style of scrapbooking
& I have to say I really loved doing it. It was like a
fantasy land type of thing.

Until next time.
Cheers Di
