I cut the filmstrip in half and tucked each end beneath the layers in order to extend
the length for this 9 x 9 page, painted it with black acrylic paint, and stitched it
down with some embroidery floss. The filmstrip was a perfect accent for this
movie star page, as were the stars, which I coated with gesso and then used
Ranger enchanted gold embossing powder. I mixed a few colors of acrylic paint
to match the palette and painted the chipboard letters and arrows. Once they dried,
I outlined them with a fine pen.

This speech bubble is definitely cool, and I painted it to match the palette and then
stamped it with black Distress Ink and again outlined it with a fine pen.

I really wanted to use the "How Was Your Day?" tag, but it was quite large, and the red just overwhelmed the page. The arrow was the perfect thing to break up that large expanse of red.

These awesome frames were the starting point of my page design. Inspired by the
balloons in the mood board, I painted them and then coated the bottom
with chunky gold glitter. The frames came from the set
Believe it or not, the starburst in the photo below is meant to be a snowflake, but I
thought it was perfectly festive and celebratory and reminded me of fireworks.
I coated it with gesso and glue and then sprinkled lots of the gold glitter.
