Its February- Sharing some Love - Janice Nicholls

Hello and welcome to the 2Crafty blog.
Today it is my turn to share 3 new layouts.
They all feature a gorgeous 2Crafty chipboard title.

{love}
On every layout we find ourselves needing a title.

2Crafty make that easy....pop over here to see the huge range of  Graphic Wordlets,
  Words and Phrases they have.
I am sure you will find something to match your layouts in no time at all.
I love the loopy font love word and it matched my love themed  layout perfectly.

I placed the word  love on top of the photo and the loop on the "l" draws
attention  to the couple in the photo.

Sometimes leaving the chipboard with no colour can be just as effective as colouring
them with paints or inks.
Love the raw chippie...perfect and so easy to add to your projects.
Embroidery thread was used to stitch the love title to my layout.

There is stacks of love here so I  decided to add a little stack of Hearts
Funky Hearts and ATC Hearts.

Two hearts have been inked with Versa Colour Pinecone ink
and two have been painted with  Tim Holtz Ranger
 Distress Crackle Paint- Peeled Paint.

Adding a date to your projects  is always important and these
 2Crafty date are just fantastic.
2013 is inked with versa colour Pinecone Ink
and sewn on with embroidery thread.

My 2nd layout

{beautiful}
A favourite photo of mine taken for  my daughters 21st Birthday.
I have surrounded it with lots of gorgeous 2Crafty chippie pieces.

These dandelions are simply gorgeous.
Coloured using Black Versa Fine Ink, and adhered using pop dots for dimension and layering.
I have tied the stems together with some white embroidery thread and a strip of
 black organza ribbon.

beautiful loopy font title.
I inked the back of the word with Black ink and stamped it onto my layout and when I stuck  beautiful  down I slightly off set it so you could see the lightly stamped image.

2Crafty chippie looks great layered up.
Here I have used a piece of Chicken Wire Panel,  and I layered  the beautiful loopy font
title over it and a  chipboard button covered in black & white washi tape adds another layer.

My little trademark Heart. again....  A Funky Heart Covered with Ranger  Distress
Crackle paint.-Picket Fence. Another Chippie Button covered with pink polka dot washi tape
and sewn on with white embroidery thread.

This little cluster includes  the 2013  date, a chippie button and a flower.

My 3rd  layout.

{just the 3 of US}

I created this layout for a Colour Stories Inspiration challenge a few week ago.
I don't like my photo taken. I am usually the one taking the photos. It was really nice
to have these family photos taken and I think it is important that we step out
from behind the camera and get in there with them.
"Like the branches on a tree,
we will all grow in our own different direction.
But our roots will remain as ONE and hold us together."
Case File No.101.

Look what I found  in the 2Crafty Words and Phrases...  it really is that easy.
I hope you have a look, I am sure you will find something that suits your every needs.
I love the mix of fonts in this gorgeous title. I highlighted the number 3 with a black pen.

Being an outdoors photo amongst the big gum trees, these  Summer Leaf Stems
were just perfect for my layout. I  placed each of the pieces in an embossing folder
and ran them through my Cuttlebug to emboss the pattern onto the leaves.

I inked the stems with Versa colour Ink-Pinecone and inked the leaves
with Laurel Leaf  and Olive. I have layered together 3 different size pieces

Summer Leaf Stems
A close up showing the embossing and layering.

Another Heart....Love these Funky Hearts.
I embossed the heart with a heart embossing mat
and wrapped it with lots  of green embroidery thread.
