Hello everyone, Elena here with you today to share my May projects.
Summer has almost begun in my part of the world, and I am very happy.
Anyway, it is such a pleasure to work with the photos taken outdoors.
This year my daughter gave up playing the violin.
I am disappointed about this fact, but I am still
hoping that she will resume in the future.
I have already used Chinese Lanterns for one of my previous
projects, but I like them so much that I decided to use them
again with a new technique.
I primed them with Gesso, inked the edges with chalk ink,
applied some Glossy accenst and sprinkled micro beads
of 2 different colors.
They added both texture and the color at the same time.
I placed my title on the
Frame Tiny Henry
which I had primed and inked beforehand.
To make an accent on my photo I used
painted with inks and sorbets.
My second layout features a yawning Theme!!!
I have been waiting almost a year for a photo to use the
and finally I have found it.
I cut it into 2 parts and distressed it with Gesso splats and Gelatos.
I also added some small banners from the patterned papers.
Moreover I traced over the chipboard on my background to look
more distressed, and added a small flowers on the top,
( because it is a baby LO, it has to be moderate in grungy techniques)))
the edges with ink and White Pen.
My Third layout was made for
SketchBook 365 Challenge Blog
I used Frame Retro and Butterfly Frame to create my cluster.
I did lots of painting and distressing, and decorated the
butterfly with bling.
I added Barbed Wire, cut into one small pieces which I had
colored randomly with Sorbet.
