Some Fabulous Chipboard Titles
By Di Garling

Don't Follow Your Dreams Chase Them

Hello 2 Crafty fans. Thanks for stopping by. Today I wanted to
show you just a few of the many fabulous TITLES that 2 Crafty
make. They have so many to choose from & they are always
coming up with new ones. I so love this title,
"Don't Follow Yours Dreams Chase Them"
This is just so appropriate for this page.

I have also used some of their NEW "Groovy Flowers".
These are the sweet little chippie flowers that I have tucked in
here & there in amongst my flower clusters.

Another NEW release piece I have used here is this sweet little
Hanging Plaque which is from the "Garden Bench Set".
This set is so cute & comprises of a little garden bench seat &
this hanging plaque. This hanging plaque has actually got the word
"garden" engraved into it, but I wanted to paint it black &
stick one of these mini words "Dream" onto it.
2 Crafty make lots of different mini words
that are just perfect to poke in here & there as an extra
embellishment on a layout.

The other chippie piece I have used on this page are these
"Frame Scallop Circle Borders".
These come nested in a pack of four different sizes.
All of the chipboard on this layout I have simply just painted
in black acrylic paint, just too easy.
I figured with such a heavily textured background I would
just keep the chippies simple.

Sweet Child Of Mine

On this layout I have used yet another fabulous 2 Crafty chippie title,
"Sweet Child of Mine"
I thought this was the perfect  title for my layout.

Next I have used a "Grandma's Bike" which I just painted white.

In this pic you can see a closer look at the title which I first  gave
a coat of gesso to, followed by some paint & then finished off
with a few dabs of Stickles to add a little sparkle.

I have also done some nice textures on my background
 using a stencil  & Mists.

In this pic you can see I have used the "French Lace Border"
which I have placed vertically on my page along with lots of
lovely Green Tara flowers. I have also used "1.5" Hexagons" too.
The hexagons were just given a couple of coats of
 different coloured mists.

A Laugh is a Smile That Burst

On this last layout I have used yet another great 2 Crafty title,
"A Laugh is a Smile That Bursts"
How perfect is this title?

For this layout I used a sketch by the talented Em Stafrace
over at "Page Drafts"
so many great sketches to choose from over there,
make sure you check them out.

On all the chipboard on this layout, I have simply painted
them with black acrylic paint & when dry I have wiped some
Viva Inka-Gold paste in silver over them with my finger,
just to add a little accent.

In these close ups you can see the 2 Crafty "Gears" which I have
just layered together & added some little screw head brads & some
metal cogs with to complete the clusters.

In this last shot you can see I have also  used some
"Chicken Wire Panel".
I love this stuff & a little bit goes a long way.
I always cut it up into bits & simply poke little pieces in
here & there, this ways I can usually get two
layouts out of the one panel.

Well thats all from me for this month, I hope I have
inspired you to get some 2 Crafty chippies to use on your
next layout.

Remember to follow us on FACEBOOK too, something
NEW is put on there everyday & that way you won't miss anything.

Until next month.
Cheers Di  xo
