Some Layouts to Share
By Kelly Foster

Hi everyone! Thanks for popping in. Kelly here with some projects to share using lots of 2Crafty Chipboard. I'll get right to it!

Up first, is a funky layout I made, this one is called "Today, You are 2" and it is a fun little layout documenting the ups and downs of my little girl at the age of two..she sure is cute even when she's unhappy, isn't she? I loaded this one up with all kinds of chipboard.

For my title, I used one of the new releases, Pointing Finger Signs, these are so fun. I left this piece basically bare, except for just a touch of chalk ink and gesso. The other half of the title is from the Everyday Font (L/C) pack for the number 2, and I cut the "you are" from the Dream Come True title. ( I am using the other half of that one on another project.) For these pieces I added some texture paste, then misted with glimmer mist, dabbed on some gesso, and inked the edges.

One of my favorite new pieces, the film strips, are used all over my layout including here, this one is one of the Tiny ones. Also, see that cute little heart? That is a "leftover" from one of the awesome borders in the Borders Forever pack...the gift that keeps on giving, there are tons of little cut out hearts and stars in that pack. I also for this one used the texture effect, and a bit of mist and inked edges...then topped it with a pearl.

Ok, if you look closely at the next two, you will see the two beautiful Corner Arches I used, one to frame my photo and add a bit of flourish to my clusters....(You can see a few more of those wonderful little hearts tucked in here and there..perfect little embellishment!)

And the other in the opposite corner to bounce the eye back to the photo and ground another cluster. I used a similar technique here as I did with the letters/hearts.

And yet one more Film Strips, this one is the "small" one.

Ok, so, on to the next one!
Another one of my little girlie, all dressed up to be the flower girl in her auntie's wedding...so I decided to use some rather romantic colors and chipboard pieces to go with that theme..

Ok first close up, you can see the beautiful Magical Memories title, which I painted with gesso, then inked with a black chalk ink in various spots...

Above, and below, you can see the pretty French Lace Border. I painted it with Distress Crackle paint, the gently inked the edges with pink and black chalk ink. I added some pearls to add a touch more elegance to this gorgeous piece. I cut it in half and placed it above and below my photo mat.

The next two photos you can see I used Ana's Vine, which I primed with gesso, then spread on some molding paste over the leaves and flowers. I then used a paintbrush to paint with glimmer mist. Lastly, I dabbed the edges with black chalk ink.

Ok, I know this is getting long, but there is one more!

Maybe you've seen this one on my blog, maybe not! Here it is:

Running down the center of my page is one of the awesome above-mentioned borders from the Borders Forever pack, which I sprayed with glimmer mist, then shaded with Pan Pastels, and tucked into the background of my page. I also used one of my favorite little pieces, from the Bracket Borders frame pack, and painted it a bold red to really grab attention and pull the eye to the photo! Sometimes it's just the little details, that really "make" a page!

Ok, well that's it from me! I do hope that if you haven't already, you will follow us here on the blog, and also on our Facebook page so you can see what we all are up to each month!
Have a fabulous day, thanks for stopping by!
