When I first recieved my 2Crafty DT pack of chipboard products, I immediately gravitated towards the
11" Flowery Swirl Frame and the
Frame Lucy's Flourish.
After some rotating, and manipulating, I decided to utilise both of these pieces on the same layout and to repeat a circular theme.
I really love the whispy flourishes on these pieces and love how well they complemented each other on my layout.
I painted the large 11" flowery swirl frame with green acrylic paint and I used a gold adirondak paint dabber on the Lucy's Flourish frame. I used a dabbing motion when applying the gold paint to the Lucy's Flourish frame, which actually created a lovely rough texture to the frame. When the paint on both pieces were dry, I added a coat of dimensional magic for a smooth and glossy finish.
