Introducing the new 2 Crafty Design Team

Thankyou to everyone who applied for our first ever Design Team call, we had so many gorgeous entries, so many in fact that it was hard to narrow down to only a couple of girls so we decided to invite 5 new girls to the team!! I cant tell you how excited I am to get things rolling and get this team working!! The girls will be updating the blog from August but I already have lots of things planned bwahahaha

So without further adu here they are

Michelle Winston

I am 37 years old, married, and have two sons - Caden (almost 2) and Jacob (10). We live at Narrabeen, on Sydney's Northern Beaches. When I'm not scrapping or playing netball, I am a primary school teacher !

I have been scrapbooking for about 6-7 years now, and I still love it. I am fortunate to be a published scrapper, and I love a good scrapping comp ! I am absolutely delighted to be a member of the 2Crafty DT for 2010, and I am really looking forward to working with the wonderful 2Crafty team, and fabulous chipboard products !

Susan Longman

I am Susan Longman a stay at home mum who is extremely lucky to have 2 beautiful children a son, Ashton and daughter, Eve along with a fabulous man, Rob in my life. I have been scrapbooking for about 6 years and feel fortunate to have found this amazing craft that captures my family’s life so completely. My pages are influences strongly by the subject I am scrapping I love feminine pages using lots of flowers and girly colours when I scrap my daughter and for my sons pages I tend to heavily distress and grunge the pages using bold colours. The one constant on my pages is central orientation and balanced embellishing…I tend to showcase most my work on my blog  and am a member of a couple of forums where I like to play…I am very excited about the opportunity I have been given by 2 Crafty and look forward to sharing my layouts with you.

Tammy Leaver

My name is Tammy Leaver I have been scrapbooking for almost 5 years now, I love creating pages that capture the special times I share with my family and friends. I have been fortunate enough in my time scrapbooking to have had the chance to have pages published in Scrapbooking Memories, Scrapbook Creations and also other Australian magazines. I have served on a few design teams in the past and I am very excited to be able to be a part of the 2 Crafty DT. I currently live in Nowra on the NSW South Coast with my husband and our 4 children. I am studying to become a high school teacher and when I am not doing that and chasing after the children I create. I love to sew, cook and also dabble in mixed media art when I feel like getting messy. I look forward to inspiring you all to play with the wonderful products that 2 crafty produce and to just have fun with your craft.

Belinda Howlett

Hi I’m Belinda Howlett. I am a mum to four year old Max and six month old Flynn. My husband and I have lived in Sydney all our lives. I am a part-time, primary school Assistant Principal that loves to teach maths and technology. However not a day goes by where I don’t think about scrapbooking or photography. I have owned a camera since I was 7 years old and I have always loved to take photos. Since I was a teenager I have always documented my stories and feelings with photos in diaries. That is why, when I found scrapbooking (pretty paper and embellishments) I was so excited. It was a way to capture my life story and now I am capturing it for my family. I have a great memory and love the feelings that the memory can evoke, a special day or a special saying is what I love to record. I love to scrap mini albums and smaller pages as well as 12 x 12. My favourite things are border punches, buttons, chipboard and notebook paper. I love to laugh with my girlfriends and I adore Summer. I love to talk on the phone lots and shopping makes me happy. I love to blog everyday events and stories here. I thrilled to be working with 2 Crafty.

Kerryn Fry

Hi There!

My name is Kerryn Fry, I am an Adelaide girl, living in the suburbs with my partner Shane and our 6 year old son, Harrison.
I originally started scrapping back in 2004 after my Mum had started an album for Harrison.
In 2007, I joined my first forum and entered a contest. I haven't looked back since.

I love this amazing craft, the whole creative process. It is my time to develop my artistic side, plus record all of the different parts of our life, good and bad. I enjoy trying new techniques and I basically LOVE getting dirty. My partner is not so happy about the mess part. Always in trouble for sanding my chipboard inside LOL!!

I am a self confessed chipboard addict, it is by far my MOST favourite product and there is rarely a page created without some form of chippie being present.

I am so excited to be joining the 2 Crafty team, one of those bucket list moments I can cross off.
Looking forward to working with everyone and I hope I can inspire you all in some way.
