“Beauty” Layout By Ro Miqueletto

Hello 2 Crafty friends!

Today I am sharing a very feminine layout.

"Beauty"

I used the beautiful chipboards 2Crafty:

Frame Georgian

Corner Gemma's

Fine Word Set 2

You will find how you make this layout in the images below:

Materials I used:

 2Crafty Chipboard
Mintay Paper - Dreamer Collection
Acrylic Gesso
Flowers
Ornaments
Watercolor

Step 1

Make with a stencil and arabesques modeling paste (1).

 Wait to dry.

Step 2

Cut out the window figure (2) and the flower bouquet (3) and paste.

Step 3

Glue the frame card (4) and the chipboard painted with acrylic gesso over the card (5).

Step 4 

Place the photo (6) and beside it a smaller bouquet figure (7).

Glue the chipboards painted with acrylic gesso(8).

Step 5

Glue the ornaments (9,10,11).

Step 6
Cut and paste the window figure (12) and above it the chipboard painted with acrylic gesso (13).
Cut out pictures and glue them to the edge of the paper (14).

  Step7
Paint the title Beauty with acrylic gesso and paste over the photo (15).

 
Step 8
Paste flowers (16,17).

Step 9
Paste ornament on chipboard and watercolor with lilac paint (18).

'Good Vibes' with Lisa Amiet

Hello all! 

It's Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you. 

I have created this layout, using some of the fabulous new designs that are now available!

'Good Vibes'

2Crafty Products used:

For this layout, I have gone with a retro theme to suit my photo. 

I have used some of the 'Groovy Flowers', that I have embossed in white and orange.

I have used some layered atop one another.

I have also used two of the 'Mini Embroidery Hoop Set',

that I have embossed in white.

I have then used some of the patterned papers to back the hoops.

I have also used some of the 'Groovy Flowers' individually and layered onto my hoop. 

For my title, I have used the 'Good Vibes' words,

that I have embossed in white and orange.  

The perfect title for my page!

 It feels like these pieces were designed for my layout!

I love the vintage feel.

I hope that you like what I have created. 

Maybe it inspires you to create something groovy today :)

"This Boy" Layout By Marie Sabatier

"This Boy"

Today I have chosen to make a page with this picture of my little
 grandson "LEO" who was born on August 29th. I thought I would use this
 beautiful chippie moon and the dreamcatchers I so love.

Here are the 2Crafty chipboards I used...

- Word this boy

- Love you to the moon

- Dreamcatchers

I applied a layer of white gesso on each chipboard.

For the moon I applied a coat of white acrylic paint 

in fine grain paste to bring relief.

For dreamcatchers I applied a dark blue embossing powder 

for a mixed media effect I added a little white gesso, 

golden wax mini pebbles and glitter.

For the title I also apply powder embosser white glitter. 

A new page that I hope will have inspired you!

Aztec Feathers

I started off with a little mixed media on my background & then

set about altering the chippie pieces.

The "title" was simply coloured with acrylic paints.

These fabulous "Aztec Feathers" were treated exactly the same as the title.

I absolutely adore this "Handrawn Heart Frame" 

& to make it stand out on the layout I simply heat embossed it in white.

I really think it draws the eye to my photos !!

Another layout complete.

I hope you like it & can get a little inspiration from it perhaps.

"Fun in the Sun"By Charmane Sharp

Hello 2Crafty friends, 

Charmane here with you today to share my first 

layout as a new member of the 2Crafty Team.

I am thrilled to share my love of chipboard with you all.

Here are the pieces I chose to work with for this layout.

I wanted to give the chipboard a grunge look with a little metallic shine.

I achieved this by using a glue stick and randomly applying foil in 

a haphazard pattern.

As always I love to design with lots of layers and texture 

to create an interesting composition .

"A Mothers Treasure is her Daughter"By Lisa-Marie Watling

Hello there, beautiful 2 Crafty Fans!

Today I want to share with you, a soft and dreamy layout I created of my precious daughter and I!

So these are the 2Crafty chippies that I used on this layout:

Here are some additional photo's of my piece, and some extra info 

on how I altered the chippie pieces.

I painted all my chippie pieces with white acrylic paint.  One of the buckles was misted with
 green and coated in Glossy Accents; I then cut it in half to use beside my photograph and
on the edge of my page.  I love the way the paint has crackled under the Glossy Accents!

My title chippie was given a few extra coats of white acrylic and then I highlighted
 'Mother' and 'Daughter' with some pink glitter glue.  I inked one of the arrows with
green and then highlighted the heart with green glitter glue.

My second buckle was left white and coated with Glossy Accents; I also cut it in half

 (but differently to the first one) and then popped on above and below my photo cluster.
