"#christmasjoy"
A layout on canvas by Marie Sabatier

 Hello everyone,

As we approach the end of the year, I share my latest layout.
A Christmas themed layout using a canvas as a support.
I only used new products from 2Crafty, I enjoyed it.

"#christmasjoy"

The chipboard used:

- Christmas #word Set 1
- Grungy Splatter Bits
- Floral Cluster Set 1
- 2024's

A little touch of gesso to properly prepare the chipboards.
This layout is inspired by the colors of the character in the photo.

I'm really a fan of these 'Grungy Platter Bits' chipboards.
They are perfect for garnishing a page background by giving it personality
To embellish them, I used "Oxide Distress", "mowed lawn" and "peeled paint" inks.

For the "Floral Cluster Set 1" chipboards I used a mix of the colors "Golden Doubloons"
and "Grab a Guy Gold" from Lindy's Gang
I wanted to obtain a shade that was close to the lights of the character in the photo.

I use a word preceding a # for my title, it's original and so current!
It is just covered with white acrylic paint.

The year "2024" is always useful for remembering the dates of the photos and for adding details to the arrangements. Using the same chipboards, I create a cluster on the right side.
I love this close-up!

Once again, I had fun embellishing these chipboards.

I wish you happy holidays and all the happiness in the world!
Thank you again for your loyalty throughout this year.

Christmas Wreath by Tania Ridgwell

Hi there!
Tania joining you today to share my second project for December.
I have a Christmas Wreath for my second share.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Poinsettia Set
*Merry Christmas with Holly Branch
*Swirl 1

I have used a White Washed Wreath that I had in my stash to create this project.

I coloured the Merry Christmas with Holly Branch chippie title with Heidi Swapp Sweet Cherry Color Shine spray and once dry I added some Golden Glow Opal Polish to it.  The Poinsettia chippies have been coloured with Golden Glow Opal Polish and once dry I dabbed some of the Sweet Cherry Color Shine spray to the middles of each.  Once again when they were dry I add some Chartreuse Color Shine spray to the centres.   I coloured the Swirl chippies with Golden Glow Opal Polish and once these were dry I randomly dabbed on the Chartreuse Colour Shine Spray on them.

I added the Merry Christmas chippie title to the bottom centre of the wreath and then added the Poinsettia chippies randomly around the wreath.  I then added lots of paper blooms in amongst the chippie pieces.  I tucked in the Swirl chippies amongst the paper blooms.

To finish off my wreath I randomly sponged on some gesso on the flowers and chippies to give it a snow like effect.

Thats' all from me today,  I hope I have inspired you all a little with my Christmas Wreath.  I would like to thank everyone for all your support and comments you have given me over the last year.  Wishing you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS & SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR
Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

Merry Christmas
by Robin Schelin

Hi everybody.
I'm here sharing another Christmas layout with you.
Just a couple weeks to go before the big guy shows up!!
 Are you ready?

Did you remember to put 2Crafty Chipboard on your wish list? I did!!

 "Merry Christmas"

2Crafty chippies used:
Damask
St. Nicks Snowflakes
Merry Christmas Fine Card Pack
Christmas Script Title

I primed all the chipboard with White Gesso to get true color when I painted it.

I used the Damask pieces on the top and the bottom of the photo to highlight it. I used 2 different sizes, the smaller one at the top, and the bigger one at the bottom. I painted them with Naphthol Crimson Acrylic Paint.

Here is the larger Damask underneath the photo.

The St. Nicks Snowflakes are my favorite snowflakes from 2Crafty. They are beautiful and so elegant, love them! I've used 2 on this layout. I first painted them with White Acrylic Paint, then while still wet, I sprinkled them with White Glitter.

Here is the other St. Nicks Snowflake.
They are very sparkly in real life. I can never get that to show in the photos, though.

For the title, I used the word 'Merry' from the Merry Christmas Fine Card Pack and the Christmas Script Title. These were also first painted with White Acrylic Paint and then dusted with White Glitter. These, too, are very sparkly. You know, things look so much better in person!!

I hope you all are finding the time to create your Christmas projects. I know this is such a busy time of the year, and can be stressful, but remember, crafting is the best therapy!!
Until next time
xx

'All Around the Tree'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello all!
It's that time of year and it's getting super close!
So, I have a Christmas layout to share with you today.

'All Around the Tree'

2Crafty products used:

For this layout, I used a 'Large Berry Stem',
that I embossed in a bright red glossy finish,
tucked into the left side of my page.

I also used one of the 'Lacey Bauble Set',
finished in a bright gold finish,
tucked into my layers on the right side.

For my title I used the 'All Around the Tree' piece,
that I embossed in dark green embossing glaze.

I have kept this page quite simple,
as I think the chipboard pieces I chose really stand out
on my page, and I really like the end result.

I hope that you all have a very merry Christmas
and I will see you soon with some more
2Crafty goodness to share with you.

Until then,

Lisa

“Christmas Moment To Remember”
By Di Garling

Hello there, thanks so much for stopping by.
Today I have a very special layout to share with you that I
created as a little memorial to my sweet fur baby Tilly, who
sadly crossed over the "Rainbow Bridge" last week. To say we are
devestated is an understatement & so I thought I would to a Christmas
layout featuring her & using these photos I took of her back in 2014.

2Crafty Chipboard Used....
"Christmas Moment to Remember' - title
Star Circular Frames
Holly Twig Branches

I absolutely adore these photos of her & so I have co ordinated
the whole layout to match  them as I soooo wanted to do them justice.

I have used this fabulous chipboard title that was just perfect for my pics.
All the chipboard after receiving a basecoat of white gesso, were then
coloured with acrylic paints. I also gave the red words a coat of
"Glossy Accents" to make them really shiney & pop off the page.

I love this "Circular Star Frame" that I have used to draw the attention
to my photos. I also gave it a coat of "Glossy Accents" as well. I think
this little frame works super well on Christmas projects.

Lastly I used a couple of pieces of the "Holly Twig Branches"
to add into my flower clusters. These were also painted in an aqua
acrylic paint & while the paint was still wet I sprinkled them with
some glitter, although it is hard to see that in a photo!! I finished off
by brushing a little white acrylic paint around the edges.

All finished. I hope you like my layout today.
I will see you back here soon with some more inspiration.

Until next time....

"Her Magical Smile"
Layout
With Amy Voorthuis

Hi lovely creative peeps.
For today I hope I inspire you to take out your lovely 2Crafty Chipboard and have some fun. It's been a little while since I made a layout and for this layout I used a picture of Abbey {of last June}eating a watermelon and smiling cute as ever and that's why I named this layout "her magical smile" for this layout I used some gorgeous chippies & a watermelon paper collection. Enjoy this post....

Her Magical Smile

Amazing 2Crafty Chipboard used:
 Mini Cherries
Frame Doodled
Frame Mini Doodled Set
Fine Word Set 2
Leafy Shrub Set 1
Mini Flourish Bits
Her Smile
Textured Tile Bits

The mini cherries are painted with some agua twin markers they attach so well on just raw chipboard you don't even have to process it with gesso first {amazing right?} The doodled frames are treated with some embossing powders in two colors {green & black}

The rest I also treated with the twin markers only I gessod the chippies first. This was a very fun layout to make with bold colors normally I am more into the shabby & soft tones.

Hope you all enjoyed my post thank you so much for stopping by, I will be back with another project hope to see you back then....

2Crafty Products used:

Suzie's Swirls
Filmstrips - Small
Father & Son Moment
Circle Dot Frame
6" Circle Revolution
Mini Checkerboard Bits
Photo Adornment - Element Set 3

I painted the circle revolution frame, the element set 3 and the filmstrip to be slightly different then the rest of the altered chipboard.

The other pieces I started with heavy texture paste

I then began layering different shades of blues and browns to achieve the look I wanted.

After the mists dried I inked the edges and a bit of the raised texture.
