December Inspiration by Ingrid

Photo Video Tutorial

Hi there 2Crafty friends!

It's a bitter sweet blogpost today as it is my last blogpost for this team.
I have had a wonderful year enjoy playing with all of those gorgeous chipboards.
It really has been a great adventure!
Thank you so much Vanessa and Di for having me!

I also want to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and all the best for the New Year!

My first project is a set of two canvases with a photo tutorial.

Here is the video:

Started these canvases by glueing the clumps to the canvases.
Added some plaster tape for extra texture and painted it all.
Once dry, I gave it a touch with some gesso.
Placed all the flowers and added some small beads.
These were also touched by the gesso.
The dotted baubles and the words were painted with some acrylic paint.

And here some close ups:...

Added some beads in different sizes.

The chequerbox clumps with the chain of the dotted baubles.

And here is my second project:

"ESCAPE"

As always I started this one with some modeling paste and gesso.
Glued the big snowflakes and painted with some acrylic paints.
All was touched with some gesso. My work wouldn't be the same without it! :)

The naked chipboard with some gesso.

I used some puffy paint for the picture frame, it gave it a great snowy effect!

These berries are from Scrap-Unlimited, a Dutch online store.
They are perfect for this wintery scene!

I painted the flowers in the right colors to match the photo.
I just watered some acrylic paint to color them.

The large snowflake behind the frame.

How pretty is this delicate snowflake!

As an extra bonus, here are some Xmas cards I made, super quick and easy!
All you need is some modeling paste, paint and gesso.

For this one I layered the two trees together to create this look.
