October Inspiration -Two Layouts to Share
By Di Garling

 "You"

Hi there 2Crafty fans, thanks for calling by the blog. Today I have two
layouts to share with you, starting of with this bright one simply titled, "YOU'.

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
You title- loopy font
Filmstrips-tiny
Filmstrips - small
Filmstrips - large

I was given these two gorgeous pics when I was in Perth recently.
As soon as I saw them my mind started ticking over of what I was going to do  !!

For my background I have gone for clean lines, plain white background & I have
used some Lindy's Stamp Gang "Witches Potion Purple" spray used with a stencil.

I have used three different sizes of 2Crafty "Film Strips" - tiny, small & large.
All I did was to give them a coat of black acrylic paint & when dry, I wiped them
over roughly with some Viva Inka Gold paste.

I treated the "YOU-loopy font title" in exactly the same way.
Looks effective & doesn't get any easier than this !!

All these flowers are from 49 and Market. The purple one was actually white
& I sprayed it with the purple spray to match it in.

A super easy layout that I am very pleased how it turned out.

 "Enjoy Today"

For my second layout today I want to share this little cutie in more my normal style !!

 2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Enjoy Today - title
Assorted Polaroid Frames
Skeleton Leaves
Mini Fast Forward Arrows

I just love these "Assorted Polaroid Frames" which I have painted
in blue & white acrylic paints & the charcoal ones in some
Viva Ferro metal effects paste.

The title - "Enjoy Today" was also painted in white acrylic paint. Too easy.

I just kept snipping the frames & layering them up underneath my photos.

I have also used some different arrows from the "Mini Fast Forward Arrow Pack".
These were simply painted in a couple of coats of white paint also.

My paper & flowers are from 49 and Market & as you can see I have added some of
the 2Crafty chippie "Skeleton Leaves" in & around the flowers for an added extra effect.

I painted the leaves in a coat of acrylic paint followed up by rubbing some
Distress Ink in Peeled Paint over them. It sort of gives a two toned effect.

Well thats all from me today. I will see you back her again next month
with more 2Crafty inspiration for you.
