April Inspiration
Two Layouts To Share
By Di Garling
PLUS ANOTHER VIDEO

"Smile"

Hi there 2Crafty fans, thanks for stopping by the blog.

Before we get started..

Please remember to become a blog follower & leave a comment to
be eligible to go in our monthly draw for a great chippie prize pack.
The more comments you leave, the more chances to win.

Today I have two layouts & a VIDEO TUTORIAL to share with you.
This first layout, features yours truly !!!! I took theses pics a couple of months
ago because I needed some "selfies" for a scrapbook challenge. I had to take about
fifty to get half a dozen decent ones & these are some of the left overs.
Thought I may as well use them up !!!
I have created a VIDEO TUTORIAL on my creative process.

2Crafty Chipboard Used..
Amaze Yourself - title
6" Skeleton Clock Frames Set
2016 Date
Berry Branch

Behind the photos I have used two of the "Skeleton Clock Frames" & the third one
I have used on the bottom right side of the page. These were all just coloured
with a black ink pad. Too easy.

The "Berry Branch" was just painted white & then I dabbed on some
"Stickles" to add some glitter to it, although it is really hard to see
here in the pics.

For both the "Amaze Yourself" title & the "2016" date were both
given a coat of white acrylic paint. Next I brushed on two coats of the same
pink mist I had used on the background so that it would all tie in & then lastly
I also finished it off with some more icicle "Stickles".
The whole glitter thing is back in fashion girls. Yeah !!!

"Mia"

For my second layout I have gone with some nice autumn colours
& naturally it features my little grandaughter.

I have based it on the current sketch over on the Prima blog.
I have rotated it 90 degrees & taken some artistic liberties with it too!!!

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Dandelions
Fine Heart Borders
Loopy Heart Frames
Mia - title...(custom made)

I have used this gorgeous "Loopy Heart Frame" to showcase my pics.
I used some bronze metallic acrylic paint followed by a little wipe
over with some gold ink to achieve this look.

I have created my background using Gelatos.

Next up I have used these chippie "Dandelions", these are one of my favourite
pieces. These were treated with some brown mica powder followed by a few
dabs of gold ink wiped over & then finished off with some crushed glitter
glass on the ends.

Here you can see a couple of pieces of the new "Fine Heart Borders" sticking
our from beneath the photos. These are gorgeous, so very fine.
These were treated the same as the "Dandelions".

Lastly I have finished off with a custom cut title, "Mia" which was also treated
the same as the other pieces. I think having her name as my title is the icing on the cake.

Well thats all from me today. Thanks so much for stopping by.
See you back here again next month.
Until then.
