Fiona's June Shares

Hello beautiful Chippy lovers! Fiona here with you today to
share my three creations for June.
First up is a little mini canvas I created using up some of my stash and
some of my favourite 2Crafty Chipboard pieces.

"Home Sweet Home"
2Crafty Chipboard pieces used
"Turkish Lace Panel"
"Folk Hearts"
"Circle Stack"

I've had this little canvas sitting on my to do pile for some time now.
It kept getting moved around all over the place as other items were
added to it's spot (you know how you buy new stuff and it doesn't have
a home so it just moves around and around your room until it gets used?)
Well this is one of those items!

I layered lots of yummy stuff onto it's water colour background including
these "Folk Hearts". The smaller one I covered in purple stickers
(they are little circles with a pattern on them) and then trimmed off the
excess and the bigger heart I gave a coat of gesso, sprayed some colour
shine in yellow and then added some coordinating water colour and let
 the two combine and dry.

Among the layers I also added a chunk of the "Turkish lace Panel".
It started off in it's raw state but as the little canvas grew, it ended
up with gesso smeared all over it.
I also added two circles from the "Circle Stack". I simply painted them black
to make them stand out more. I like the contrast against the bright colours
of the background and the other elements.

My next project is a bit of a different one. It's a layout but ...... with a difference!
I've been experimenting with different sizes. This one is a 6"x12". I've used
12x12 card stock cut in half. I loved the challenge and the vertical appearance of it.

"Make A Wish"

"Make a Wish Script"

"Twinkling Fairies"

"Film Strip"

I've wanted yo use these adorable "Twinkling Fairies" ever since I received
them. They are so cute and even though I have a daughter, she's not the
fairy type ....... she's a bit more grungy, but Kendall, my son's girlfriend, is not
only beautiful but very girly. So This one's for her xx

For the title I used the "Make a wish Script". I covered it with some silver ink.
It matches the "Twinkling Fairy" perfectly!

I wanted that Fairy to twinkle ..... so I added some Metallic Melts and glitter galore!!!

I also gave the "Film Strip" a really good coating of Metallic Melts to give
it a pearly shine. I trimmed it to suit my photo too, so it's three frames instead of five.

My last piece to share with you is a regular layout.

"Live Life"

 2Crafty Chipboard pieces used

"Squiggly Heart Cluster"

"Circle Revolution"

"Family Symbols"
"Mini Tags"

I absolutely love purple and orange together. I tend to find myself using a lot of
orange in my scrapbooking. I definitely think it's my orange haired children's
influence. This one is no exception. This is my son, looking cool in summer!

After creating the background I added my chipboard elements. The purple
dude from the "Family symbols" is covered in bazzill card stock and then
stamped on with the same stamp I used on the background.

The "Suqiggly Heart Cluster" is painted with black acrylic paint but I've also
"parted" them .... I wanted the piece to follow the shape of my corner ....
so I trimmed it. Hey .... that's what I love about chippies, they are so versatile!

The "Mini Tags" were covered in scraps of coordinating patterned paper and
placed under the photo layers so they just poked out enough to be seen. Then I finished it
all off by popping the largest of the "Circle Revolution" around the whole composition.

Thank you for popping in to check out my creations.
I'll see you all again next month.
