Melenia's Pages

Hello everyone!
It's Melenia with you today!
First of all, let me wish you a happy and blessed New Year!
After some very difficult weeks
(with health problems that some family members encountered),
I'm very excited to share you two layouts
that were created/based upon/adorned with/highlighted by
(so many uses, eh?)
the lovely 2 Crafty Chipboard.

"Live out Loud Everyday"

This page features two of the 2 Crafty titles/sentiments, as well as a panel:

Square Collage Panel
Live Out Loud
Everyday Word

The fonts that 2 Crafty uses for making titles
and words are simply gorgeous.
In this layout I just had to use two of them!
I painted them with gesso and placed one of them on the cluster
and the other on the photo, in order to achieve contrast.

Below you can see what I did with the Square Collage panel:
I cut it in different sizes and placed it against the masked circles
and the 7 Dots colorful, geometrical background.

So we have rectangles, on top of  circles and
on  top of the latter, squares.
The effect that is made is playful and happy!
It's actually a geometrical layer of shapes!

A busy page, isn't it? Lots of embellishments and layers.
The reason for that was that the photo of the little girl is so cute,
that the whole page had to go along with her playful, happy mood!

"Amazing Treasure"
Now let's see my second page, which was created for the 13 Arts blog:
2Crafty Chipboard Used

Interlocking Grid Panel,
Hand drawn Stars
Amazing & Treasure from the Mini Word Set 1

I think I haven't created more than 3 baby pages in my scrap-life
and this must be the 4th! It is full of pink tenderness and I think
I smell some baby powder coming out from the cluster! lol
The Hand drawn Stars play a vital role in the design:
I chose them to create the special, magical feeling that
only a baby can give in one's life!

The stars are painted silver and are sprinkled with glitter.
The page is actually built upon them and I wanted them to stand out.
At the same time I needed them to be soft and well-incorporated into the big cluster.

Below you see how I combined the words from the Mini Word Set 1.
Full of glitter they are, don't you think?

I shouldn't forget to mention the wonderful Interlocking Grid Panel;
It is the element that adds balance to my page, bringing it down to earth, so to speak.
It's painted with white paint and then sprayed with light brown and pink mists.

So these are my 2 Crafty projects this month!
I hope you enjoyed seeing them and got inspired to use these magical chippies!
