Melenia's October shares

Hello ladies!!!

Melenia with you today with two layouts, which I hope will inspire you!
The pages are built on the amazing 2 Crafty Chipboard!
I have realised that when I use a couple of these magical chippies,
there's no need for lots of embellishments,
except for a few complimentary items, such as flowers and gauze!

Ok this is my first one

"Forever Happy"

Lots of 2 Crafty gorgeous chipboard, as you see!

Let me share some details.

I used the Diamond Panel in two ways:
First as a mask
I sprayed on my background twice,  (in two different colours),
because I love the shape that the panel has (diamonds)!
Like you would do with a stencil.
Then I placed it on the background and built my big cluster on it!

I also tucked in a Groovy Flower in my cluster (I can't do without them, it seems)!

It's no secret that I adore the 2 Crafty Loopy Font and let me tell you,
I chose this specific Pinterest photo just in order to match with
the "Forever" & "Happy" Loopy Font words! I misted the chippies
and added some glitter for extra sparkle!

For a romantic yet bright layout such as this, I couldn't omit the Leafy Rounds!
They are so delicate and beautiful, I had to add them to my cluster (both of them).
They blend so nicely with the rest of the elements, don't they?

Last but not least, I placed Madeleine's Flourish Frame on top of my photo,
in order to draw the attention on the photo!
The frame was gessoed first and then misted with gold ink,
as I wanted it to be soft and glowing at the same time!

Now let's see the second page of mine.

"Crossing Paths"

My in-laws are celebrating their 45th anniversary in few days,
so I wanted to make a gift for them for this occasion!
Having their home decoration in mind,
as well as their colour tastes, I chose an earthy colour combo.

As you can see, I used the Wildflower set (yep, almost all the items)!
I painted it with gesso and green ink and then added Gold Strips on the chipboard.
I did that in order to give the feeling we get in our fingers when we touch
wildflowers and greens from a meadow.

A few touches of orange, just to accent some places.

Hopefully you have all enjoyed looking at my layouts this month,
as much as I've enjoyed creating them.
