April Post by Elena

Hello 2Crafty friends.
Last month was a busy one for me as I had several classes in Russia and Ukraine.
Alhough these two countries are in conflict  now, I have managed to visit two of
the most beautiful cities and talked with their talented ladies.
I was not tired as I  got so much  inspiration & so many  ideas from them,
some of which  you can find here on my creations today.
The first one is a layout about my little boy.

Sometimes I find it challenging to scrap just the face, & this time was no exception,
but I think I have manged to express the feeling when I look into his big blue eyes.

2 Crafty chipboard I used was...
Squiggly Heart Cluster

I covered it with Embossing Enamel and then just squeezed  on some drips of Dimensional paint.

I embellished the page with flowers &  I also added  some
Indian Feathers.

I applied dimensional paint on them too as well as some Texturez - textured paint by Shimmerz.

It is two months before  summer ( in my part of the world)
so I am dreaming about the warm and lazy days.

My next card is about this mood.

I applied some mixed media techniques on the background and
went the same way on the chipboard:
The 2 Crafty chipboard I have used are ....
The Mini Bicylce and one the frames from the Polaroid Assortment Frames.

I primed with a heavy gesso and then colored some areas with shimmery paints.

My second card ........

Is a reminder that spring is coming: when the windows are open and  the flowers are blooming.
I used one of the window from the 2 Crafty chipboard  Window Shutter Set and Elegant Flourish, that I covered with modeling paste first and then colored with acrylic shimmery paints.
Too easy.

My next creation is a layout I made for Maja Design April Mood Board

I used the 2 Crafty Adore You Title,  that I cut into two  parts.

I primed it partly with heavy gesso, then added Glossy Accenst and sprinkled it with Flower Soft.

The same technique was used on the 11" Viney Page Frame. I also cut it up
and I just added some spots of pink and blue paint on it

I hope you have liked my creations this month.
