Cards with Jane Clark

Hi everyone, hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and
have had time off to be creative!!

I've had a few days to enjoy making some cards with some wonderful 2Crafty
chipboard pieces. OH and I'm most excited to be staying on and still be able to
share ideas along with the magnificent ladies on the team!
My first card: Hi Miss You!
I painted a layer of Modelling Paste over a sheet of plain chipboard, placed a
large Angie's Vine on top and painted more Modelling Paste over the top and let it dry.
I sprayed Glimmer Mist Driftwood over the top, dried it with my heatgun then applied
Rub'n Buff over the top to highlight the chipboard, this created a great Patina effect!!

I used downward strokes when painting for a cool pattern and I love how the
Glimmer Mist pooled around the Angie's Vine chipboard piece.

My second card: 'You Okay'
I coated two Indian Feathers with VersaMagic turquoise Gem ink then added two
layers of clear embossing powder over the top to give a nice shiny coating.
I applied VersaMark to the 'OK' letters from the Alphabet Dainty and the 'You'
from the Birthday Sentiments, added American Crafts opaque mustard embossing powder
on top and heated them.

The Polaroid Frame was coloured with Brilliance moonlight white ink and two
layers of clear embossing powder was added over the top, this actually made the
 pieces look like plastic!

Coating the pieces with ink first and applying two costs of clear embossing powder
over the top allows the inner laser engraving areas to still be visible.

Until next time,
I wish you all a wonderful, safe and happy New Year!!

Cheers Jane xx
