Simple, but Effective Cards By Jane Clark
PLUS A Reminder That
Our BLOG HOP Starts Tomorrow

Hi everyone Jane here sharing two cards with you.
The first one titled 'Hello' is my favourite at the moment,
I love how the delicate thistle shrub looks against the fencing wire panel
and I especially love the font on the Hello word bubble. I coated the
thistle shrub with yellow embossing powder and coloured
the fencing wire with white ink. I chopped the tail off the
speech bubble and embossed it brown, even though I love speech bubbles
I REALLY wanted that piece with that font for my card!

The second card I used the shrub set 3 and embossed this with a
brighter yellow embossing  powder, I think I have a thing with
embossing powders on chipboard this time, last time
it was Prisma pencils. These chipboard pieces really do make
great embellishment on your cards, all you need to do is colour them
with whatever and let the wonderful designs do all the work!.

I used a Jenni's bracket frame and yes once again I coated the
chipboard piece with white embossing powder, I only used a portion
of the design so it would house the size of the shrub better. I find
myself always using the birthday sentiments words too, I'm sure
I have said this before but.... they are always the perfect size for
 my cards and guess what?
I coated it with brown embossing powder!! surprise surprise!!

Anyway...I know these cards are simple in design, but you really
don't need much else when it comes to gorgeous chipboard pieces like these!!
